The honest caveats
Big-puff devices have three real weaknesses, and they all get worse as capacity grows:
- You almost certainly will not vape 500,000 puffs. At 300 puffs a day that is over four years. The battery, the coil and the liquid will not last anything close to that. Realistic usable capacity on the largest devices is a fraction of the rating.
- Flavour fades in the final third. The bigger the chamber, the longer liquid sits exposed to air and the more the aroma flattens. Rotating chambers helps; leaving one unopened for a year does not.
- Portability collapses. Past roughly 150K these are no longer pocket devices. If you vape out of the house, you will want a smaller unit as well.
